the whole nation. The nation is heading towards a water crisis due to
increasing demand, unmatched water supply, lack of river basin
management and growing population
WATER SHORTAGE IN MALAYSIA
1. When a location runs out of water, residents begin to stockpile
water at home. This can result in aedes mosquito breeding,
malaria, and other disorders.
2. All sides must take responsibility and work together to find a wise
and equitable solution to this problem. For example, do not
waste water and only use it when absolutely required, and even
then, use it carefully.
FACTOR CONTRIBUTING TO WATER CRISIS
1.WATER WASTED - Most people do not know how much they are
using.
2.UNREPAIRED WATER PIPES – Archaic water pipes have been left
unrepaired for decades and this has given rise to leaking pipes
wastage and precious water
3.COST WATER – Water has come way too easy and cheap for
Malaysia that we have long surrendered our ability to appreciate
and be grateful.
HOW TO SOLVE THE WATER SHORTAGE?

media to actively participate in finding and implementing
solutions so they do not waste water.

implement laws on water resource use.

old water systems, and focusing resources on watershed
