BAC Resolution - Mode of Procurement for the

RESOLUTION NO. ---, S. 2024

WHEREAS, the Municipality of (Municipality) through the Name of Office, requested the
immediate procurement of Name of Project/Procurement;

WHEREAS, under Section 52.1 of the Revised IRR of RA 9184, Shopping is a method
of procurement of goods whereby the procuring entity simply requests for the submission of
price quotations readily available off-the-shelf goods or ordinary/regular equipment to be
procured directly from supplier of known qualifications;

WHEREAS, pursuant to the above-mentioned provision, shopping may be employed for

the procurement of ordinary or regular supplies and equipment not available in the Procurement
Service involving an amount not exceeding FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS (₱ 50,000.00).

WHEREAS, upon evaluation of the prepared Approved Budget for the Contract, the
procurement of Name of Project did not exceed the amount of FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS
(₱ 50,000.00);

WHEREAS, the BAC recommended for the conduct of Shopping (Sec. 52.1) as an
Alternative Mode of Procurement for Name of Project/Procurement as the method of
procurement for the project;

WHEREAS, the BAC sees it proper to conduct Shopping (Sec. 52.1) as an Alternative
Mode of Procurement for the Name of Project/Procurement;

WHEREAS, the conduct of Shopping (Sec. 52.1) as an Alternative Mode of Procurement

is proper and justified;

NOW, THEREFORE, on mass motion of all members present and duly seconded by the
same, be it RESOLVED as it is RESOLVED to recommend to the Municipal Mayor the
Shopping (Sec. 52.1) as Mode of Procurement for the Name of Project/Procurement
 RESOLVED, this ___ day of ______ 2024, in Malabuyoc, Cebu.
