A. Pre-Reading Activate learners' prior knowledge to spark their interest and motivate them to read.
Activities 1. Singing “Alphabet Song”/ “Joly Phonics Song”
2. Drill: Giving the sound of the letter that the teacher will show.

3. Exercises: Reading of CVC words and sight words.
4. Activity: Spelling
Write the CVC words that the teacher will say.

B. During Reading Full Refresher- Coloring of pictures of CVC –at Family Group 1-Full Refresher

Developing pupils - Picture puzzle- the pupils will complete the puzzle word
using the CVC –at family words. Then they will tell the name of each picture.
Group 2-Developing
During Reading-

The pupil will show first the short video about the cat to introduce the CVC
word (-at family).
She will also conduct a short discussion about the story.

Emerging – Group 3 Do the picture puzzle and they will put names under each
picture on their own.
