Lord, we commit to you this day and everyday.

We thank you for the strength, for your

favor, and for everything Father God. Turuan mo po kaming making ng Mabuti sa iyong
kagustuhan. Turuan mo po kaming gumawa ng tama kahit sa anong sitwasyon kami
malagay, ganun din po God, dalangin namin na kami ay maging excellent kung saan
mo kami iniluklok. Bigyan mo po sana kami ng mabubuting tao na makakasama naming
para lalo kaming mapalapit sayo. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

EXCELLENCE

Ano ang ibig sabihin ng excellence?

Sa Dictionary, ang synonyms nito ay ang mga salitang to transcend, to surpass,

to show superiority or to do or be better, to exceed

The mark of God is excellence kas inga siya yung Master Designer di ba?

In the Bible, excellence is being the best we can be with God’s grace. It referes to
pursuing and doing the best we can with the gifts and abilities God gives, giving our
best to the glory of God. Ideally, it is done without the spirit of competition or seeking to
excel simply to be better than others. Excellence includes doing common, everyday
things, but in very uncommon ways regardless of whether people are watching. Kasi si
God nakikita tayo at ang ating gawa and He rewards us accordingly.

Napaisip ako kanina kung excellence ba is a gift kasi parang mas marami akong
kilala na they excel in everything they do. And I have come to realize that excellence is
not a gift. It must be pursued. It must be sought after. God will give you the desire, but
you must cultivate what God has put within you.

Don’t expect excellence to be a gift of the Spirit. If you are given to slothfulness
and an attitude of masking your lack of the pursuit of excellence behind the phrase “ If
God wants it, He’ll sure gets it done, you are positioning yourself for a great lack of
excellence. To excel means to go beyond, to be superior.

Excellence is not a gift, it must be pursued. So, pursue excellence.

Points to consider:

1. Pursuing excellence should not be limited by the nature of the task.

It’s that we are able to do whatever we do, kahit pa sa tingin ng society ay maliit
na bagay o walang significance, president ka man o maintenance, lahat ay
gagawin natin for the glory of God. Regardless of what we do, it deserves our
best for in the long run, it reflects on the honor and glory of our God and will
ultimately be rewarded by Him.

2. Pursuing excellence is a matter of choosing the best

 The pursuit of excellence is never a matter of simply choosing between what is
good or bad, but of choosing what is superior because it will better enable us to
accomplish what God has designed us to be and do.

3. Excellence is an all-inclusive pursuit

It is a task worth doing rightly and diligently

4. Excellence is a matter of a whole-hearted endeavor.

Higit sa pagiging basic, pursuing excellence is a matter of the heart, of the inner
person and proceeds from an inner faith or relationship with God.

Ano ba ang usual na motibo natin sa pag pursue ng excellence?

1. Una syempre for the glory of God

Let men see his glory in you. Because God does nothing short of excellence
himself. Therefore, we should always be striving to be excellent too. Being
excellent at what we do will point back to the one who gave us the ability to do
our work. It will bring glory to God, as well as show those around us the love of
Christ.

2. Time and productivity

Life reward, do it once and do it right. Opportunity, like Daniel who secretly work
upon Him self. God wants us to do good and pursue excellence. “Let us not
become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we
do not give up” (Galatians 6:9, New International Version)

3. Eternal reward.
Our toil in the Lord is never in vain if done in His strength or by the enabling
ministry of the Spirit of God. Naiimagine ko dito yun one day, lahat tayo ay tatayo
sa Judgment Seat para ireceive back what we done while alive in this life.

Summary ng mga Principles of excellence

1. Make the original worth copying. Do it right the first time. Minsan ang pgkakaiba
lang ng failure at success is doing something nearly right or doing it exactly right.
2. Invest in quality. Excellence always endures. The satisfaction of quality far
outweighs the bitterness of a cheap deal.
3. Do everything you do for Jesus, and whatever you do, do it heartily as to the Lord
and not to men
4. Commit to improvement and growth.
5. Release your faith through confession- you possess what you confess
6. Identify the average areas of you life- ano ba yung mga kelangan irevolutionize
