The maps depict the differences that the edges of the town of Fosbury had underwent over a
35-year period.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that there are a lot of changes from 1980 to 2015, although the
houses and the hotel remained unchanged.
Looking at the map more closely, one can see that the park moved to the right of the middle
area after 35 years, letting people to have more space to build houses at the left part. In 2015,
the tennis court was upgraded to a sports centre and also a parking lot for conveniences.
It can be seen that in the middle of the second map, a roundabout was built, making people
remove the grocery and the block of flats. Moreover, the terraced houses were taken down to
build a car park and a supermarket. The fields had also disappeared, instead warehouses rose
in that area. Some alleys were constructed to connect the main road with the sports centre and
the warehouses.
