Hazardous material in the infeed material like metal
parts, aerosol cans, flamable materials or not carefully
maintained wear parts may cause fire or explosions on
plant components.
This causes high costs by destroyed or damaged
components, production downtimes and increasing
insurance contributions. For this reason VECOPLAN
has developed a preventative, independently working
fire protection concept for shredding machines. A fast
detection on the one hand and an immediate extinction
of fire sources on the other hand reduce costs to a
minimum. The fire protection concept for shredding
machines is used parallel to a conventional building fire
protection, but doesn’t replace it! It anticipates to the
building fire protection and protects your plant. Due to
this fact a building fire protection doesn’t have to be
activated in any case of fire.
