INTRODUCTION

➢ The EMIRITES SPORTS KARATE OPEN is a competition for all the categories
starting from 12 years old and above.
➢ The EMIRITES SPORTS KARATE OPEN is open for all the karateka over the
world (Individual or Teams).
➢ The WKF competition Rules in force will be applied.
➢ The number of competitors for Kata & Kumite modality is limited to a maximum
of 128 athletes per category.
➢ Each team can register unlimited athletes in each category.
➢ All participants and members of delegations must have their own medical
insurance and personal travel insurance.

3. AGE

The age limit of competitors for the corresponding category will be the first day
of the entire event.

4. ENTRY FEE

➢ The entry fees are (per individual category entry): 80 US Dollar.

➢ After the Closing Day of the registration at Sportdata the fees will be (per
individual category entry): 100 US Dollar.
➢ All the payments must be made at the official registration & accreditation disk
on 02 March at the HQ Hotel (Holiday International) according to the program.

5. PRIZES

All the participants will get:

➢ Participation Medal.
➢ Participation Certificate.

In each individual category:

➢ The first prize will be a gold medal plus Certificate.

➢ The second prize will be a silver medal plus Certificate.
➢ The third prizes will be bronze medals plus certificates.

6. COMPETITION VENUE & DATE

The EMIRATES SPORTS KARATE OPEN 2023 will be held 03 – 05 /March 2023, at
the Sharjah Sports Club, Al Hazanah Branch, in the city of Sharjah (United Arab
Emirates).

✓ The detailed competition schedule will be fixed after closing the registration on
02 March 2023 at the HQ Hotel, to adequate it to the final number of athletes.

The official accreditation will take place on Thursday, 02 March 2023, from 10.00 a.m.
to 18.00 p.m. at the HQ Hotel (Holiday International)
