Assalamualaikum and good afternoon to

Madam Fauziah Hj Janau, excellent principal of SMK likas,
Mr Sapri Abdullah, senior administrative assistant,
Madam Asnah Ampong, senior assistant of student affairs,
Madam Siti Fadilah Abdullah, Senior Curriculum Assistant,
Madam Baini Atu, Form 6 senior assistant,
Dr Saidi Che Ik, senior assistant of the afternoon session,
senior subject teachers,
fellow teachers
and all my dearest students.

Today is my turn to deliver a speech. i would like to talk about these two
acronyms. LU & LUM.
recently, this word suddenly went viral in social media if you all aware.
you know what is LU? it is a shortform for love you. Same meaning with
sarangheo or ai ni or aishiteru or mahal kita or upus dika or sayang ta kau or
sayang awak.. familiar with that?
what does love have to do with you?
who should you love?
let's be honest.. deep inside your hearts, who do you love the most?
your mother? your father? your siblings? your family? your cewek? your
cowok? your secret loved one? or yourself?

Maybe you will say Love to God or Allah. Of course, the greatest love is for God
and his messenger and then love for our parents. Besides love for god and
messenger and our parents, we will focus on love for ourselves.
Ask yourself, did i love myself enough? What is the proof?
By loving ourselves, we will appreciate what God has given us. We will not
waste the life we have.
Love yourself first before you love others
Everything we do in this world has an effect on our life. All these will be count
after we die.
I want you to think about these two proofs that we love ourselves..

First.. Do what God says. keep praying for muslims.

Ask yourself, Do I pray 5 times a day? the same goes to non-Muslims. every
religion has its own way of praying.
Second.. Respect others.
Ask yourself.. do I respect my parents or elders? do I respect my teachers? do I
respect my friends? Do i speak using good language?, take all the good things
as a guide in life and make all the bad things as a boundary to prevent
ourselves doing the same bad things.

If you succeed in these two proofs, that means you are truly love yourself...
then there will be the second acronym that is LUM.
you know what is LUM?
LUM means Love you more... who will love you more?
God or Allah will love you more. Then what happen if god love you?
When God love you more, your life will be calmer, the door of rezeki will be
blessed and open wide. Suddenly everything is enough even if your family
don't have much money. you will easily focus on your studies, your family will
be more harmonious. no more fighting. Parents are happy, children are happy,
teachers are happy, discipline teachers are also happy.

so, last but not least, love yourself first. make yourself useful.
