1. Prayerfully read 1 Timothy 3: 8-13.

2. Read Acts 6:1-6. What are was the main concern in this verse? Based on this passage
what do you think is the primary role of the deacons?
3. Read 1 Timothy 3:8-13, as a group enumerate one by one the different qualifications that
is required for choosing deacons?
4. What qualification really impressed your heart? Discuss its importance.
5. What are the rewards mentioned for serving well as deacons in the church? (Read verse
13, and Matthew 25:21)
6. How can we apply this in our Christian living?
7. How does this verses teaches us about the character and heart of Christ? (Read Matthew
20:25-28)
