MINUTE OF THE LAST MEETING HELD ON THE 4TH OCTOBER 2022

WITH JOY FOR ALL FOUNDATION AT NTOT HALL.

The meeting started at about 12:25pm. Self introduction was done by all the
personnel present. Opening Remarks was said by the permanent secretary, he
appreciate the staffs and Directors present.

Representative of Joy for all foundation in person of Dr Joseph gave the brief
introduction of what Joy for All Foundation entails and he presented on
identification of registration, upgrading, improving, initiating, integrating,
coordinating, monitoring, supervision and evaluation of the activities of Traditional
Birth Attendants in Ilorin and its environs in line with the best practices worldwide
Public – Private Partnership after the presentation question and answer was raised.

Director Medical Services ask questions about the TBAs where their registration
was done in their respective LGAs and he laid emphasis on the Joy for All
Foundation term of reference should be made available.

Executive Secretary Primary Health Care Development Agency said the

foundation need to work with Government and said the skilled birth attendant is
not working in line with government policies which they needs monitoring of their
activities.

NMA Representative or Chairman said he is excited with the topic projected on

TBAs with the havoc they have been causing in the society most especially patient
medicine store.

DNS – She comment on the skilled birth attendant which they need to be track
with their activities they do and said they need to collaborate with the state to avoid
the havoc they are causing in our society.
Dr. Shittu from state primary health care said to the Joy for All foundation that
how do they train land track the skilled birth attendant and where is the data to
show case the training and total number of the skilled birth attendant in the state
and lay emphasis that they need to collaborate with the state to monitor activities.

SPHC Mrs. Gabi – Explain to the foundation that the state primary health care
have trained the TBAs in the state and call for collaboration with you for all
foundation.

Closing remark – was done by Dr. Alatishe and appreciate the personality present
and Joy for All foundation for the wonderful presentation.

Closing prayers was said by one of the participant and the meeting came to an end
by 2:07pm
