Chemical description: magnesium chloride hexahydrate
Chemical formula: MgCl2 x 6 H2O
Appearance: white flakes, crystals

Chemical Analysis: typical min./max.

MgCl2 (magnesium chloride) 47,0 % min. 46,0 %

Ca (calcium) 0,35 % max. 0,5 %
SO4 (magnesium sulphate) 0,30 % max. 1,0 %
NaCl (sodium chloride) 0,1 %

K (potassium) 0,03 %

Applications:
- for magnesium oxychloride cements (Sorel cement)
- for detergents and treatment of textiles
- for drilling fluids
- as dust suppressant for powders and bulk material
- as de-icing agent
- as base for the production of other magnesium compounds

Packaging:
25 kg PE-bags on pallet (1000 kg)

Storage:
Magnesium chloride is very hygroscopic. Store in a dry place and protect from contact with
air. Quickly re-seal opened bags.
