NARRATIVE REPORT FOR MENTORING AND COACHING


(August-January)

August 2023

The teacher prepared the classroom and maintained classroom positive


environment to engage learners. She also handles student’s behavioral issues.

September 2023

The teacher designed lesson plans that address learners needs, strengths,
interests and experiences as well as integrate reading (introduce and reinforce key
terms and concepts related to lessons) and mathematical skills (interpret various
types of data and giving problem-solving tasks) to the lessons. Also, managed
teaching and learning processes that align with curriculum requirements.

October 2023

The teacher prepared, submitted and conducted the 1st quarterly


examination. The test questions administered was according to the suggested art of
questioning and distribution of percentage of the different domains. An item
analysis was done after the periodical test was conducted; this was to determined
the learning percentage on each competency that was covered throughout the
quarter.

November 2023

The teacher designed lesson plan that uses teaching strategies that respond
to learner’s linguistic, socioeconomic, cultural and religious backgrounds. And the
teacher also prepared instructional materials in support with the agencies mandate
to improve numeracy and literacy among learners.
December 2023

In preparation of the yuletide season, the teacher developed activities that


promotes camaraderie and fairness among learners. Thus, an equal opportunity for
the learners was generally practiced in order to promote equal development
regardless of ethnic inclusion, religion, and social status.

January 2024

The teacher made preparation of the assessment tool with a table of


specifications (TOS) to ensure that each domain of the taxonomy of learning is
covered by the learner. The teacher constructed a table of specification following its
consistency assuring the quality of test to be given to the students as an
assessment tool that will measure the learning outcomes of the discussed lessons.

(February-May)

February 2024
The teacher attended the INSET (In-Service Training) and accomplished the
given tasks during workshops. She also maintained learning environment that is
clean, orderly and inviting which foster a sense of belonging and support diverse
learning style.
March 2024
At this point the teacher designed TOS (table of specification) in preparation
for the quarterly examination. Moreover, the teacher premeditated his lesson plan
for the quarterly classroom observation and daily lesson.
April 2024
Since the teacher has no advisory class, his involvement on different school
event was evident. And had submitted timely reports. The teacher also managed to
help other classroom teacher to maintain friendly environment learning facilities.
May 2024
The teacher served as a committee member for checking of school forms and
report, in addition to his quarterly preparation for the periodic exams and
submissions of grades.
