I Have A Dream Speech

Martin Luther King Jr. talks about how even after slavery has ended, people aren’t equal and
how African Americans are still looked down upon. He believes that both black and white people
should have guaranteed rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The most famous
point he said in this was, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation
where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” For
most of the speech, he talks about what he thinks America should improve on to become a
better country. He had high hopes that all of this will come true one day.
