Motivation Letter

Please accept this appeal letter for my daughter Miss Miche’ Phoebe Fortuin to attend Malibu
high school for the academic year 2025. I have completed an application form online for my
daughter’s admission on the 11th March 2024, the 1st day when the leaners admission online
portal opened and was given confirmation on the 12th March 2024 that the WCED had received
my daughter’s application and would forward to the selected schools we applied for..
Recently, I received a message that my daughter’s application was unsuccessful by Malibu High
school saying that the school was oversubscribed..
Financially, We cannot afford to register the child at another school because travelling expenses
will be a problem. We are residing less than 5-10 minutes away from Malibu High school which
is in close proximity of 1.5 km away from our home.
We have always envisioned our daughter attending Malibu High as it being an exceptional
school given the school high pass rate and we only wanting the best for our daughter.
Miche’ is a very vibrant, out-spoken person, communicates very well with everyone and portrays
very strong leadership skills.
We are humbly requesting Malibu High to accept my daughter’s admission application for
academic year 2025.
