SUBJECT: CONDUCT OF FIRST QUARTER NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS

EARTHQUAKE DRILL (NSED) FOR CY 2024

DATE: March 26, 2024

1.Attached is the OUOPS Advisory No. 2023-04-01368, from Undersecretary Atty.
Revsee A. Escobedo, Undersecretary for Operations, regarding the conduct of First
Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), for information and
appropriate action.
2. All public schools are enjoined to participate in the conduct of the said earthquake
Drill on March 27, 2024, Wednesday at 9:00 am. The said change of schedule is in
accordance to the NDRRMC Memorandum No. 020, s. 2024.
3.Proper documentation and post-activity evaluation of the said drill are required.
School is advised to make necessary preparations to ensure that the required reports
are submitted on time, as indicated in Annex B.Reports are to be submitted not later
than (10) working days after the conduct of the said drill.
4.Immediate and wide dissemination of, and strict compliance with this Memorandum
is desired.
