Which is better , to fill the fuel or by in bits?
God has already put his Spirit in the hearts of all believers as a guarantee of all
they have been given in Christ (2 Cor. 1:22).
So, if Christians already have the Holy Spirit living in them (1 Cor. 6:19),
how can they better experience his presence?
The book of Acts gives us a clue in its account of what happened when Peter and
John gathered with their fellow believers after being released by the Jewish
council: And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered
together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to
speak the word of God with boldness. (Acts 4:31)
Why did Paul say to the Ephesians, do not be drunken with wine…(Ephesians 5:18)
but be filled with the Holy Spirit ?...
because when you are filled with something, you are controlled by that thing,
alcohol, drugs
So then, it means when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, You talk the holy
spirit, you walk the holy spirit, you live the holy Spirit.
Eg, the prophet Balaam and his intention to curse the people of Israel for
money... Numbers 23:10-12
What it means to be filled…
*it is a command, not an option…
*it is for all of us.
*it is a repeated action because it is in the present tense.
* It must be done every day.
