BARANGAY EXECUTUVE ORDER NO. 28 – 2023

AN ORDER FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF MRS. MELISSA R. ABESTILLA AS BARANGAY

NUTRITION SCHOLAR(BNS).

WHEREAS, the promotion of nutrition and health among residents is

essential for the well-being and development of our barangay;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Dakila recognizes the importance of appointing

dedicated individuals to serve as Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) to
spearhead initiatives that promote proper nutrition and healthy
lifestyles;

WHEREAS, Melissa R. Abestilla has demonstrated exemplary commitment

and qualifications in the field of nutrition and community service;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LIBRADO C. DE ROBLES, Barangay Captain of Barangay

Dakila, by virtue of the powers vested in me, do hereby appoint
MELISSA R. ABESTILLA as Barangay Nutrition Scholar, effective
immediately.

As Barangay Nutrition Scholar, Melissa R. Abestilla shall be tasked

with:

1. Conducting nutrition-related programs, seminars, and activities

within the barangay.
2. Collaborating with health workers and community organizations to
promote proper nutrition and healthy living.
3. Providing nutrition education and counseling to residents,
particularly vulnerable groups such as children, pregnant women,
and the elderly.
4. Assisting in the implementation of barangay-wide nutrition
programs and initiatives.
5. Reporting regularly to the Barangay Council on the progress and
outcomes of nutrition-related activities.

Melissa R. Abestilla is hereby enjoined to perform her duties and

responsibilities with diligence, integrity, and dedication, in
accordance with the objectives and principles of Barangay Dakila.
