መግቢያ PREAMBLE
የደን የማልማት፣ የመጠበቅና ዘላቂነት ባለው Where as, the activity of forest development,
conservation and sustainable utilization has great

ውጤቶች ፍላቶች ለሟላትና የምግብ ዋስትናን
ensure food security as well as for the society, ensure
ለማረጋገጥ፣ ባጠቃላይ ለክልሉ ኢኮኖሚ ግንባታ food security as well as for the enhancement of the

የክልሉን የደን ሀብት ዘላቂነት ባለው መልኩ Whereas, it is necessary to utilize the forest resources of

ጠቅላላ
General
1. አጭር ርዕስ 1. Short Title
ይህ አዋጅ "የደቡብ ብሔሮች፣ ብሔረሰቦችና This proclamation may be cited as “The

2. ትርጓሜ 2. Definition
የቃሉ አገባብ ሌላ ትርጉም የሚያሰጠው In this proclamation, unless the context other
ካልሆነ በስተቀር በዚህ አዋጅ ውስጥ፤ wise requires;

1. “Regional State” means The Southern

8. “Forest” means a congestion of plants, either

17. “Forest Product” means a tree of a natural part

22. ”Royalty” means a fee collected by a pertinent

29. “Quarantine” means a place where service

5. Types of Forest Ownership

In accordance with this proclamation, there shall

6. Designation, Demarcation and Registration
መመዝገብ of State Forest.
1. The Regional State shall , through participation
