1. Latar Belakang

 Latar belakang diadakan di Temporary Storage B3 Waste ini adalah agar tata cara penyimpanan
limbah B3 mengikuti prosedur yang ditetapkan Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup (K.L.H)

2. Tujuan
1. Untuk memastikan semua limbah yang dihasilkan dibuang ditempat yang aman dan ketaatan
terhadap keselamatan, kebijaksaan dan peraturan lingkungan.
2. Limbah B3 tersimpan dengan rapi, dan kondisi yang aman (safely), sesuai prosedur K.L.H

B3 storage terdiri dari 3 room area yang masing-masing ada “Sign Board” jenis waste. Penyimpanan
limbah B3 di Temporary Storage harus diletakkan dilajur sesuai dengan jenis waste (* Lihat Denah 1)

Label yang dipakai untuk mengirim Limbah B3 ke Jakarta/PPLI adalah label warna kuning yang
sudah direkomendasikan oleh HSE Advisor Jakarta.

Untuk mempermudah dalam pengenalan waste, hendaknya keterangan di label harus diisi dengan
benar ( Lihat Gambar 2)

1.Penghasil : Diisi nama yang menghasilkan/mengirim limbah B3
2. Alamat : Lokasi Pengirim/Penghasil limbah B3
3. Telepon/ FAX : Nomor Telepon/ FAX pengirim/penghasil B3
4. Nama Limbah : Jenis limbah B3 yang dikirim
5. Kode Limbah : Isi dengan nomor waste yang sudah ada kontrak dengan PPLI
6. Jenis Limbah : Diconteng kolom yang sesuai dengan bentuk fisik Limbah B3
7. Jumlah Limbah : Diisi sesuai dengan ukuran limbah Ton/ Kg/ Ea/ Unit

6. Informasi Waste Guides (Penanganan/Handling Waste)
Sebelum menangani waste B3 maupun non B3 sebaiknya memahami dahulu hal -hal seperti berikut:
1. Jenis Waste : Nama limbah.
2. Category : Bahaya atau tidak.
3. Handling : Cara penanganan disesuikan dengan sifat jenis waste.
4. Storage : Cara penyimpanan disesuaikan dengan sifat jenis waste
5. Disposal : Apakah ke Incinerator, PPLI atau dikembalikan ke industrinya

7. Informasi Limbah B3 yang sudah mempunyai kontrak di PPLI
Tidak semua limbah B3 yang dapat dikirim ke PPLI Jakarta, untuk waste yang belum tidak ada
kontrak di PPLI, waste tersebut harus diuji terlebih dahulu dan di test ke Laboratorium PPLI (*Lihat
Table 4).

 9. Hal yang perlu diperhatikan untuk menyimpan B3 di "Temporary
Storage”

1) Pastikan Limbah B3 sudah dilengkapi dengan Internal Manifest

2) Jika ingin menyimpan minyak bekas gunakanlah drum bekas Lube Oil jangan
gunakan drum bekas chemical karena “ jika tercampur akan berubah menjadi
jenis limbah B3 yang baru”
3) Gunakan drum metal jangan gunakan drum plastic karena sifat dari minyak bekas
adalah mudah terbakar begitu juga dengan plastik yang dengan mudah bisa ikut
terbakar.
4) Gunakan drum yang kondisi bagus (jangan karatan) untuk menghindari kebocoran
pada saat penyimpanan dan perjalanan ke tempat pengolah (PPLI)
5) Gunakan pallet yang kondisi bagus dan utuh kayunya untuk menghindari terjatuhnya
limbah B3.
6) Gunakan box/ container yang layak pakai untuk menghindari jatuhnya atau hilangnya
limbah B3 pada saat perjalanan ke tempat pengolah (PPLI).
7) Bekas kaleng cat & thinner, used oil filter, dry/wet batteries yang disimpan didalam
bekas drum yang dilubangi atas supaya ditutupi terpal. Hal ini menghindari masuknya
air hujan atau limbah B3 lainnya pada saat penyimpanan dan perjalanan ke tempat
pengolah.
8) Semua limbah B3 yang dikemas dalam box atau pallet , drum harus sudah dibanding (
diikat dengan plate besi) dan siap dikirim.
9) Tempelkan Label “Full” untuk mengetahui bahwa ada isi didalamnya.
10) Tempelkan Label “Hazardous waste” untuk mengetahui tanggal masuk
penyimpanan.
11) Tempelkan Label “Anak panah keatas” untuk mengetahui posisi drum tidak terbalik.
12) Tempelkan “Simbol” untuk mengetahui sifat dari limbah tersebut.
13) Tempelkan MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet).
14) Hilangkan Label nama & MSDS yang masih melekat di drum. Misalnya: Oli tellus 68
nama mereknya masih melekat sedangkan sudah diisi minyak bekas maka harus
dibuang.Hal ini supaya orang tidak bingung.

Document yang digunakan untuk mengirim limbah B3 dari semua field adalah
document yang didevelop/dibuat oleh Internal ConocoPhillips yang berlogo ‘
ConocoPhillips’ yang terdiri rangkap 5

12.2. Document Limbah B3 from Temporary Storage Matak to PPLI.

Document yang digunakan untuk mengirim limbah dari Temporary Storage
Matak ke Jakarta harus menggunakan Document limbah B3 yang
didevelop/dibuat oleh Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup yang berlogo ‘Burung
Garuda’ yang terdiri dari rangkap 4

Semua limbah B3 yang dikirim dari penghasil/generator baik dari offshore ataupun
Matak Base harus mengikuti ketentuan-ketentuan yang sudah dijelaskan dalam
Working Flow B3. Temporary Storage personnel BERHAK mengembalikan B3
Waste yang tidak ditangani/packaging dengan baik dan tidak mempunyai informasi
yang lengkap dan jelas.
