scooter, and killing one of its riders who
fell on the car’s roof and was driven for
nearly half a kilometre. A senior officer
said the accused driver was arrested on
Sunday and the SUV has been seized.
The accident took place on Saturday
at Kasturba Gandhi Marg when the SUV
crashed into the scooter that Deepanshu
and his cousin Mukul were riding. While
Mukul fell on the road, Deepanshu land­
ed on top of the car. The driver later
dropped the victim on the road and
