Summer Vacation Task for Grade 7 Promoted to Grade 8

Objective: Learn about different food chains and ecosystems.

1. Choose an ecosystem (e.g., forest, ocean,

grassland).
2. Research and identify at least five
organisms in that ecosystem.
3. Create a food chain diagram showing how
energy flows from one organism to another.
4. Label each organism and indicate whether
it is a producer, consumer, or decomposer.

Objective: Connect with nature and document your findings.

 Spend time outdoors and observe the natural world around you.
 Record your observations in a
nature journal. Include sketches,
descriptions of plants and animals,
and any interesting findings.
 Reflect on how different organisms
interact with each other and their
environment.

Best work from each section will be awarded with an

APPRECIATION CERTIFICATE from the Biology Department.
