The main objectives of this course are to provide students an understanding to the
concepts and aspects of disaster and its relationship with development, to ensure
awareness of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) approaches among students and to
assist students develop ability to respond to their environment with potential
response to disaster research for skill development.
