Spider-Man, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, is one of Marvel Comics' most

iconic superheroes. His story began in "Amazing Fantasy" #15 in 1962. The story
follows Peter Parker, a high school student who gains spider-like abilities after
being bitten by a radioactive spider at a science exhibition. Peter initially uses his
powers to earn money and fame, but after the death of his Uncle Ben at the hands
of a thief, he learns the lesson that "with great power, comes great responsibility."

Peter adopts the identity of Spider-Man and uses his abilities to fight crime in the
city of New York. Over the years, he has faced a wide variety of villains, including
the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Venom, and many more. In addition to his
arachnid abilities, Spider-Man is known for his wit, his spider-sense that warns him
of danger, and his sense of humor during fights.

Peter Parker's personal life is also an important part of his story. He works as a
photographer for the Daily Bugle, struggles to support his Aunt May, and balances
his life as a hero and a college student. Over the years, he has had several
relationships, including ones with Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy.

Spider-Man has appeared in comics, television series, movies, and games,

becoming one of the most recognizable and beloved characters in pop culture. His
message about power, responsibility, and overcoming adversity has resonated with
generations of fans worldwide.
