PAMANTAYAN SA PAGGANAP: Ang mag-aaral ay malalim na nakapaguugnay-ugnay sa


bahaging ginampanan ng kapaligiran at tao sa paghubog ng sinaunang kabihasnang Asyano.

1. Naipapaliwanag ang konsepto ng Asya tungo sa paghahating – heograpiko: Silangang

2. Napapahalagahan ang ugnayan ng tao at kapaligiran sa paghubog ng kabihasnang

4. Natataya ang mga implikasyo n ng kapaligirang pisikal at yamang likas ng mga rehiyon

UNIT SUMMARY

In this 7th Grade Araling Panlipunan lesson, the students will research exploring the unique
physical features of the Asian continent. The unit focuses on simplifying complex geographical
concepts, offering students an introduction to the diverse and unique physical features of Asia.
Through engaging lessons, students understand the vast landscapes of Asia, including its
mountains, rivers, deserts, and plains. This exploration lays the foundation for understanding
how the continent's geography has influenced its history, culture, and the lives of its people. This
lesson focuses on the physical characteristics of Asia. This aims to enable students to
demonstrate the following: (1). The concept of Asia can be explained in terms of geographical
division: East Asia, Southeast Asia, South-Asia, West Asia, North Asia and North/Central Asia
(2) Appreciate the relationship between people and the environment in the shaping of Asian
civilization (3) Characterized the natural resources of Asia, and (4) Estimate the implications of
the physical environment and natural resources of the regions on the lifestyle of Asians then and
now. This process will enable students to appreciate the beauty and unique features of various
places in Asia. The instructional approach will employ interactive PowerPoint presentations,
sample printed materials, articles, and videos to elucidate the subject matter. Assessments will
be based on the discussed concepts, ultimately leading students to recognize the profound
importance of their studies.

STUDENTS OBJECTIVES AND LEARNING OUTCOMES:


WEEK 1: Naipapaliwanag ang konsepto ng Asya tungo sa paghahating – heograpiko:
Silangang Asya, Timog-Silangang Asya, Timog-Asya, Kanlurang Asya, Hilagang Asya at Hilaga/
Gitnang Asya.

Day 1:

Through an introductory video presentation about the geographical features of Asia, the
students should be able to:

a. Define and identify what is Geography.


b. Analyze and discuss the benefits of geography in the 21st Century.
c. Illustrate a map showing the geographical divisions of Asia.

Day 2:

Through meaningful discussion with a PowerPoint Presentation regarding geographical


distribution of Asia, students should be able to:

a. Determines the different continents the world has


b. Appreciate every role played by the various Asian locations.
c. Create a 100-word reflective essay on their understanding about the discussion given.

Day 3:

By showing video clips on the different regions of Asia, students should be able to:

a. Determine in each country belonging to each region in Asia.


b. Appreciate the importance of different landforms located in different locations in Asia.
c. Create a graphic organizer showing other forms of land and water each region has.
