memberships are for the calendar year 2024 (expires December 31, 2024). Veterinary Student Membership is for the 2023-24 school
year: September 2023 through August 2024. There is no pro-rating of dues.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES (check appropriate category)

ACTIVE MEMBERS ($295.00) shall be VETERINARIANS engaged in, or having an abiding interest in, the general field of swine
medicine, and shall reside in a recognized district of AASV (US, Canada, or Mexico). Active members shall be entitled to all
rights and privileges of the Association.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS ($295.00) shall be those VETERINARIANS whose interests are compatible with the AASV, but who do
not reside within a recognized district of AASV. They shall not have voting power nor hold office.
STUDENT MEMBERS ($15.00) shall be enrolled in an accredited school or college of veterinary medicine. They shall not
have voting power nor hold office.
FULL-TIME GRADUATE STUDENT MEMBERS ($147.50) shall be enrolled full-time in a graduate program of study leading to
a Masters or PhD degree. Graduate student members do NOT receive the print copy of JSHAP, but DO receive the weekly
AASV e-Letter and have online access to JSHAP, the annual meeting proceedings, and the Swine Information Library. Full-
time Graduate Student Members may register for the AASV Annual Meeting for one-half the Active Member rate.
NEW GRADUATES (dues waived) Those who received their DVM or equivalent degree in 2023 are eligible for
complimentary 2024 AASV membership. Include academic degree information.

AFFILIATE MEMBERS shall be non-veterinarians, actively working in the swine industry, who have made noteworthy and outstanding
contributions to the practice of veterinary medicine and/or research. To apply for Affiliate Membership, contact the AASV office
(aasv@aasv.org) to obtain the Affiliate Membership application form.
