I, CHARLENE MAY N. BAAY, humbly apply for the position of Teacher 1 as a Special
Education Teacher at South Cotabato School Division. It has always been my ambition
to work as a public servant through teaching. I hope to realize that dream at your
prestigious institution.
I graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a special education
concentration in 2020. During our practicum, I was assigned to two separate schools
with varying grade levels and students with disabilities. As an intern, I was able to work
with a diverse range of students, honing my creative teaching abilities. With the help of
our mentors, I was able to improve my method of instruction, professionalism at work,
communication skills, and awareness of different types of learners. I have no doubt that
your organization will benefit from these qualities.

Special education is a critical time for young learners. I am committed to enabling my

prospective students to attain their maximum potential by utilizing a variety of learning
tools that are appropriate for their learning styles. I want to provide my students with a
learning environment that inspires confidence in their abilities. I desired to be a part of
their journey of developing self-assurance and skills while teaching them the values and
discipline required to become successful members of their generation. I am also bound
to create an environment of love and respect since these children require a teacher who
will not only give them knowledge but will also recognize their worth as individuals.
