2.1 PROJECT INTRODUCTION

Project Canary Consist of Design and Build MEP Main Contract for the detail
design, authority submission, supply, delivery, installation, testing & commissioning,
obtain certificate of completion & compliance, support during defects liability period,
and maintenance of Project Canary 03- A new 53MW IT, Greenfield Data Centre
(Phase 3) For Bridge Data Centres Malaysia III Sdn Bhd on Hs (D) 78142 PTD 32674,
Mukim of Bukit Batu, District of Kulai, State of Johor, Malaysia.

Project Canary Consist of:

1. One Unit of 2-Storey Data Building with 3-Storey Utilities

2. One Unit of 2 Storey Office Building with Facilities
1) Power Containers (Gensets) Stacked on 2 Levels Structure Facilities
2) One Unit of Fuel Pump House
3) One Unit of Guard’s House
4) One Unit of Bin Centre

This manual described the Fire Protection Services for the development of:

DESIGN AND BUILD CONTRACT FOR 53MW IT POWER FITOUT OF

GREENFIELD DATA CENTRE FOR BRIDGE DATA CENTRES IN KULAI
INDUSTRIAL PARK (KIDEX), JOHOR MALAYSIA.

The Fire Protection services scope of work for this project include the followings:

• Addressable Fire Alarm System

• Wet Sprinkler System
• Pre-Action Sprinkler System
• Hose Reel System
• Gas Suppression System
• Fireman Intercom System
• Aspirating Smoke Detector System
