Introduction:

 16-day rally violence against women was held on behalf of the

WSAF program. Various competitions were held in the Karunya
in this awareness rally. The first part of this was an awareness
rally.
 They went with their vehicles in their hands for the protection of
women, injustices done to them, prevention of child marriage
and sexual violence.
 These were presided over by Sisters,and WSAP Unit Managers
Julia and Krishnamurthy.
 The next stage of the event was a Rangoli competition in which
the Adolescents in male,Female and community people
participated. A total of 65 participated in the competition. The
theme of the competition was violence against women.
 The time limit was said to be 1 hour. All the people participated
with great interest. It was inspected by the field workers and the
sisters of the Karunya Trust.
 After the time period, everyone discussed the painting and then
divided these paintings into first, second and third prizes.
 Arrangements were made to give them a trophy and certificate of
appreciation. All the participants were given a certificate of
participation. The next stage of the event was the signature
ceremony.
 All the people very politely put their signatures on the notice
board. 65 people are participating and putting there signature on
ceremony.
 65 people are participating the VAW Campaign rally program.
 Certificates of appreciation were arranged for the winners in the
end of the session.
 At the same time WSAF team give the safety audit to the
participating people.65 people participating the safety audit.
 Videos and picture show for the women’s safety audit. Mostly
people affected in Working places, Factory ,Bus stop,School…
etc
Our Team give awareness and helpline numbers is very usefull
for routine life.
 Krishnamurthy photographed and videotaped them all. Finally
the field worker Mrs. Krishnamurthy thanked everyone and
ended the program.
