Subject: Request for attendance for absence due to college department educational tour .

Respected sir ,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to inform you about my
absence from classes in the month of February due to an educational tour / excursion organized
by our department. As a diligent student, I understand the importance of regular attendance and
academic engagement. However, I was compelled to miss classes for a duration of seven days
i.e from 19th of February to 27th February to participate in this valuable learning opportunity.

The educational tour/excursion was meticulously planned to enhance our understanding of

South Indian culture and heritage . It presented an unparalleled chance for practical learning
and exposure beyond the confines of the classroom. I firmly believe that the insights gained
from this experience have significantly contributed to my academic growth and overall
development.

In light of my absence, I kindly request your approval to grant me attendance for the classes
missed during the educational tour/excursion.
