1.2 Functions of parts.
Relay timer: When the timer button is pressed, the timer relay will turn on or
off the sugarcane juice machine after a certain period of time.
On button: When you press the on button, the circuit will be closed and the
sugar cane juice machine will operate.
Off button: When pressing the off button, the electrical circuit will be
interrupted and the sugarcane juice machine will stop working.
Reversing button: When pressing the reversing button, the motor will rotate
in the opposite direction. The reverse button is often used when cleaning the
sugarcane juice machine.
Contactor: When the circuit is closed, the contactor will close the contact
and supply power to the motor.
Fuse: When the current in the circuit exceeds the allowed level, the fuse will
break to protect the circuit from overload.
11
Single-phase AC motor: Single-phase AC motor is the part that provides
energy for the sugarcane juice machine to operate. Single-phase AC motors
usually have a capacity of 1.5 to 2.2 kW.
Capacitor: Capacitor has the function of starting the motor. When the
sugarcane juice machine is turned on, the capacitor will be charged and
discharged into the motor, making it easier to start the motor.
CB: CB is the part that protects the electrical circuit from short circuits.
When a short circuit occurs, the CB will automatically disconnect the
electrical circuit to protect the electrical equipment in the circuit from
damage.
When the sugarcane juice machine is turned on, the timer relay will
close the circuit and supply power to the motor. The single-phase AC motor
will rotate and transmit motion to the sugarcane pressing head. The
sugarcane press head will crush the sugarcane and squeeze out the juice.
After being pressed, sugarcane juice will flow through the filter tray to filter
out the bagasse. Finally, the sugarcane juice will be collected into a barrel or
cup.

contact K1 to prevent current flow when both direction switch buttons and On
are pressed. Similarly, when the direction-reversing motor is activated for 20
seconds, coil T1 will open normally closed contact T1, de-energizing coil K2,
returning the contacts to their initial position, thereby cutting off the power.
The Off button will cut off the power in both operational states: when the
motor rotates in the correct direction or within the range of 0 to 19 seconds
during motor reversal. It's possible to cut off the CB or use the Off button in
case of emergency.
* Sugarcane clogging: The machine can get clogged due to excessive fibrous
material from the sugarcane. This can happen if the stalks are too thick or if the
machine's filters or sieves are not cleaned regularly.
- Solution: Turn off the machine and wait till it is fully stop. After that, turn on
the reversal switch for the gear to turn backward in order to get the sugarcane
out.
* Unevenly crushing: After sometime, the rollers or gears may not apply even
pressure across the sugarcane stalks, leading to incomplete extraction or
uneven juice extraction.
- Solution: Maintain the machine regularly, ensuring that the rollers or gears
are properly aligned and lubricated for even pressure distribution
* Motor overheating: Prolonged use without breaks can cause the motor to
overheat. This can occur if the machine is used continuously for an extended
period beyond its capacity.
