2 Clean the tappet covers 7-B and the adjacent areas
11-A TBA TBA of the rocker cover 7-D. Refer to Section 1, Cleaning
the Engine.

Important: Make sure that the screws 7-A do not fall into
the engine.

3 Remove the tappet cover screws 7-A.

4 Keep the screws 7-A away from the engine.

5 Use a screwdriver in slot 7-C to remove the tappet

covers. Make sure that dirt or debris do not fall into
the engine.
