DIDACTIC FEATURES AND TASKS OF MASS MEDIA

Annotation: This article talks about the rapid development of the mass media
today, the technology of the 21st century, the technology playing an important role in all
of our lives, the mass media providing experience and indicators, and the functions of the
mass media.

Annotatsiya: Ushbu maqolada bugungi kunda ommaviy axborot vositalarining
jadal rivojlanishi, 21-asr texnologiyalari, butun hayotimizda muhim o'rin tutadigan
texnologiyalar, tajriba va ko'rsatkichlarni taqdim etuvchi ommaviy axborot vositalari va
ommaviy axborot vositalarining vazifalari haqida so'z boradi.

The 21st century is the age of technology. Until now, science and technology
development is rapidly developing in our country. 21st century technologies, the
fastest growing field in human history. This first season has brought endless changes
to our experiences, skills and society. Current technologies help to solve mental-life
problems at a high level.
During this period, several important technologies were widely popularized.
Artificial intelligence exchanges, for example, are increasingly being consumed by a
variety of industries, as they offer simple and efficient solutions to processes in the
fields of medicine, transportation, education, and energy. Currently, artificial
intelligence is used in modern learning systems, 3D printing, robotics, synthetic
biology, and cyber security. These technologies lead to the creation of new methods of
management systems, economic and industrial spheres, the creation of opportunities
for innovation in each sphere, and the transition to new perspectives and new
educational methods for the development of new technologies and spheres.
These activities and changes are related to community interaction through care,
creating better activities like material and intellectual technologies, new product

development, customer service, and physical technical tools. including opportunities to

develop new approaches.
Today, mass media plays a major role in society. In addition, the role of mass
media in the socio-political life of Uzbekistan is rapidly strengthening. If we look at the
history of mass media activity in our country, in 1991 only 395 media outlets were
operating in our country. By 2016, their number reached 1,437, and today their
number is close to 2,000, and most of them are private. The University of Journalism
and Mass Communications was established in order to improve the system of training
modern specialists for mass media in Uzbekistan. Organizations such as Creative
Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan, National Press Center, National Association of
Electronic Mass Media, Public Fund for Support and Development of Independent
Print Mass Media and News Agencies and International Press Club are successfully
operating.
During the years of independence, more than 10 laws and more than 150 by-laws
were adopted in our country on the development of mass media, publishing and
printing, ensuring freedom of speech and information, and a solid legal framework was
created in the field.
Today, compared to 1991, the number of mass media in our country has
increased by almost 4 times, publishing houses by 13 times, and printing enterprises
by 12 times, and their material and technical base and human resources have
significantly improved.
At the same time, coordinating the activities of mass media and publishing
houses, turning quantitative indicators into quality indicators in this network, creating
a healthy competitive environment in the national media space of our country, forming
a modern information services market, and the material and technical base of the mass
media operating locally. and issues of strengthening personnel capacity remain
relevant. This is mentioned in the Decree of the Head of our State dated August 6, 2019
"On further improvement of management in the field of press and information".
Today, the mass media of Uzbekistan are also adapting to the times. Converting
from one format to another. These changes in themselves indicate the need to review
its legal basis.
The draft law "On the economic basis of mass media activity" was the beginning
of such reforms. It envisages defining legal standards such as mass media property,
sources of funding for its activities, entrepreneurial activities, and incentives for
editorial staff. It is also intended to indicate the charter fund of mass media, tangible
and intangible assets obtained during the implementation of charter activities, income
and profit from the implementation of business activities, sources of formation of
property of mass media.
The focus on mass media is expanding the distribution of news, opinion, and
information across multiple platforms. In this language, focus contains news, concepts,
functions and carries information.

It is used to inform the environment through mass media, social networks, news
sites, blogs, television and radio programs, online platforms, news accounts, forums
and other methods. Mass media can help improve communication in the form of a
unified and collective image, warnings and information dissemination.
News from the mass media has an important role in communication and
distribution, as well as engagement with the community. Mass media helps to
disseminate reliable and accurate information, expose people to news and
information, and how much community members are required to engage with society.
It is a very interesting topic to talk about the didactic features and functions of
mass media (television, radio, internet, press, social networks and other websites).
These media help each of us to be aware of the news in our time, local and foreign
knowledge, social systems, politics, economy, culture and other areas. In addition, they
are of great help in distance learning, self-study, participating in social dialogues,
searching and viewing information, getting new ideas and information, or explaining
problems in other countries.
Mass media have the following didactic features:
1. Dissemination of information: Mass media performs the function of
disseminating information. They perform functions such as advocacy, communication
or dissemination of news, ideas, articulation of social change, revival of information
and expression of independent opinions through educational rights.
2. Data analysis: Media analyzes and displays data with its own methods. By
presenting news in a more comprehensible manner, it provides experiences in
understanding, analyzing and building on changing information.
3. Program making: Mass media has the function of making a program, for
example, news programs, educational programs, social projects, etc.
4. Pictorial and graphic based information: Through pictorial and graphic based
information, media helps in easy understanding of news. In this case, the experience of
presenting information is one of the main tasks of good teaching.
5. Experiences and pointers: Mass media can engage people and provide them
with new information through the presentation of experiences and pointers, distance
learning, self-study and social communication. performs its function.
Media shows students, through specific educational methods, information, which
requires a commitment from their curious and information-seeking activities. Better
media are the creators of habitual endings, where learning and education are self-
directed based on human experience and performance, social interaction, and self-
