Schools get ready students for university instead for jobs.

I completely disagree with the

statement for the following reasons.

I believe that education has become a must to everyone in the world. Schools should aim to make
students ready for work rather than attending post graduate studies due to the fact that most the
them cannot attend universities and at the same time must work alongside.

Many students are unable to pursue further studies after school. In other words they are unable to
continue due to some financial constraints to do further studies. Therefore, if they are not
adequately prepared for work, they will struggle greatly after school. For example, some of my
classmates, since they could not afford to enroll to college and remained without a job since they
were not prepared for it.

In addition, even if you enroll in a university, you must work to cope up with the university’s
financial expenses. This is because universities are more costly, so you still have to get a part
time job to make sure that you are able to buy all the required textbooks and other school
supplies in time. Thus, the more you are ready to take jobs, the easier your life will be without
worrying for your educational choices.

To sum up, I believe that schools should teach needed skills for work rather than preparing
students for getting into university. This is because not all students are wealthy; because many of
them are unable to pursue higher education after school and even if they do, being job ready is a
plus points and certainly they will survive and succeed.
