development of several of these lines should mark a change in the 40K industry. Our universal gun kit is a
product we are very excited about. It will allow any UHP gun user to convert their guns to our industry-
leading Wolf water blast gun. The Wolf’s performance and reliability are well documented, and now your
fleet of guns can be converted to Wolf high performance parts in less than an hour.
We have also released a new dump-style tumble box that drastically improves on the shortcomings of
other boxes. Our box is lighter, easier to work on, features significant safety upgrades and lasts much longer
in the field in between rebuild cycles. There are no expensive cartridges to replace and poppet and valve seat
life has been greatly increased

What Are Low Turbulence Nozzles?

The Low Turbulence design is an innovative way to move water through the nozzle body. Using a small internal
chamber inside the nozzle body, water is pooled up for a millisecond, which allows turbulence and fluxuations
inside of the nozzle to settle, allowing for a much more stable and powerful water stream.

What is a Balanced Pattern Nozzle?

Balanced pattern nozzles are something we have pioneered in the last 5 years. The fact is, running un-balanced
pattern nozzle carriers or different sized nozzles in your nozzle carrier is the leading factor in premature shaft
breakage. Every bit of uneven pressure put on the nozzle carrier is sent directly back to the swivel shaft. At 3,000
RPM, it doesn’t take much pressure on the swivel before it snaps. With a balanced pattern nozzle carrier, the
nozzle ports are evenly spaced and positioned so that the swivel spins in full 100% balance while operating.

What are Sidewinders?
Sidewinders can make a tube cleaners life much easier. In a nutshell, Sidewinders are lance connectors that have
nozzle ports in them so you can get some extra cleaning power inside of a tube. A lot of harder tube materials
like special polymers can be difficult to remove and using standard tips can increase work time drastically. By
adding a Sidewinder to your tip, you can do your heavy blast work with the tip and finish the finer removal and
polish work with the jets of the Sidewinder. Just another way we try to make you more efficient.

What is a Bingham Drive System?

In order to better serve the industry, we are offering our revolutionary drive system. This system is available in
40K and 55K, 6 GPM and 14 GPM, in both pneumatic and hydraulic operation. It has mounting holes to adapt it
to a number of frames or brackets and can be adapted to work as a lancing machine, a spray bar system or with a

WOLF GUN
The Wolf water-blast gun is a design unique to Bingham

Manufacturing. For the past 10 years, we have helped
build a number of OEM guns and in doing so, we have
had first hand access to technical data, performance stud-
ies and customer feedback to help us understand what
was wrong with other water-blast guns in the market.
What we did was step back and take an entirely new ap-
proach to the way water-blast guns are designed and built.
This new gun is built to save the user money by improv-
ing removal rates, extending parts life by up to 50% and
by building an easier to repair tool.
The heart and soul of the Wolf gun is it’s advanced

swivel design. We’ve spent several years develop-
ing this new swivel to extend swivel life by up to
50% over other UHP guns. In addition, the use of
swivel seals and brass backup rings has been nearly
eliminated by the swivel design. The swivel works
on a “floating” principal, where the shaft is never
fixed in 1 solid location, and slight movements and
vibrations allow the swivel to adjust internally and
smooth out any problems. It’s the same principal as
shock absorbers on a car. Also, these swivels are
made from the highest quality stainless steel avail-
able and are then subjected to 2 separate processes
that make this shaft 4 to 5 times harder than stan-
dard swivel shafts. All of this makes Wolf shafts
nearly bulletproof.

WOLF GUN
From the air motor forward, the Wolf water-blast gun has a number of
innovative features that add to the performance and value of this tool.
• Our mounting plate design allows for quick maintenance work of the
drive belt and pulleys for less down time in the field.
• Our second trigger design is one of the lightest available today and is
mounted on the front of the gun for added safety during blasting. With
a second trigger system, both triggers must be pulled to turn the gun
on. One unique aspect of our 2nd trigger is that it will not stick in
place during operation due to its design. (All guns shipped with trig-
ger guards and burst shield)
• The bearings alignment pack at the end of the shroud is designed to

keep the gun spinning true and straight during operation.
• Our balanced 3, 4 , or 5 Jet head designs make sure the lance spins on
center at all times. Unbalanced nozzles are the #1 cause of early shaft
failure.
• Our 2 piece shroud/mounting plate is designed to keep the shroud

Dump Vs. Dry-

Dry-Shutoff
The way that UHP pumps build, store and dump UHP water is different between OEM brands. Depending on
the brand of pump you use, one of two boxes will work for you. Husky style pumps and Intensifier pumps re-
quire dry-shutoff boxes and use a signal to the pump to open and close the UHP water valve. NLB, Jetstream and
GDI style pumps do not adjust water volume at the pump, but instead they dump all bypass water at the tumble
box. That is a dump style box. Both Dump and Dry-shutoff can be used to run multiple guns off of one pump.
What is a Tumble box?

Tumble boxes are the 2nd half of what is required to effectively operate a water blast gun. Tumble boxes include
air oilers for the gun’s motor and the finest filter regulators to make sure the gun is receiving the proper air flow.
They also include safety features like emergency shut-off pedals, air regulator lock-outs as well as the fastest
water valve in the industry to instantly shut off water flow. They include a rugged aluminum frame to protect all
of the pieces and an easy removal plate to make maintenance as quick as possible.

Disassemble the water blast gun you wish to convert, until the air motor and 2nd trigger are removed
Step 2:
After the air motor and second trigger have been removed, install the swivel / lance pack into the top
mounting plate. Once in place, install the top and bottom mounting plates together over the air motor and
lock firmly into place. Most of the work is now done.

Once the lance and swivel are installed, you almost finished. Next, install the 2nd trigger over the shroud.
Bolt the shroud over lance to mounting plate. Screw the lance alignment back onto the end of the shroud.
Make sure all items are securely fastened. You should be finished with the conversion and ready to blast.

The universal swivel is a unique design from Bingham Manufacturing that allows all UHP gun operators to run
