Petition Under Sec 10 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.

The Petitioner, named above, states;
1. That the petitioner was married to the respondent on few months ago at ________ within the
jurisdiction of this court.
2. That the petitioner and her husband live together at the husband’s residence.
3. That the respondent beat the petitioner. The respondent even used to abuse the petitioner
verbally in front of friends and family.
4. That the respondent stopped paying the daily expenses of the petitioner. Serious conflicts have
arisen between the petitioner and the respondent.
5. That the respondent has treated the petitioner with cruelty and it is insufferable for the
petitioner to continue to live with the respondent.
6. That the cause of action accrued to the petitioner against the respondent is within the
jurisdiction of the court.

That the petitioner claims or prays;

(a) That a decree for Judicial Separation be passed in the favour of the petitioner against the
respondent.
(b) Any other relief or reliefs which the court may deem proper under the circumstances be
also awarded to the petitioner.
