Mampaey Quick Release Offshore

Hooks are designed for safe
mooring of shuttle tankers to FSO,
FPSO or FSRU tankers.

The Offshore Hooks are installed on deck structure on the

Bow, Stern for Tandem Mooring or as Side-by-Side Mooring
System. The Hook is connected by means of a pearlink to
the mooring hawser, which will be connected to the shuttle
tanker. In case of emergency, the hook can be released
manually by means of release lever or hydraulically via Local
Control Panel or Remotely via Control Room or Bridge.

Quick Release Offshore Hooks

 An Audible and Visual Alarm Array will show alarm functions locally. A Loadcell
is implemented in the Quick Release Hook. Hook-load (real-time) and Alarms
[low/high/high-high-load] can be monitored at the Local Panel and remotely via
Control Room- or Bridge Panel. Optional, loads can be displayed as trend on
the Chart Recorder. The Hook can be interfaced with the Q.C.D.C. or E.S.D.
system. All controls are executed by PLC technology with all common fieldbus
interfaces, such as profibus, modbus or ethernet.
