PBl & CBL: learning – contents - social

1. The learning approach as case-based and project-based


learning means that learning is organized around
problems. It is a central principle for the development of
motivation. A problem makes up the starting point for the
learning processes and places learning in context and
bases learning on the learner’s experience.
2. The contents approach concerns, especially
interdisciplinary learning, which may span across
traditional subject-related boundaries and methods.
Exemplary practice in the sense that the learning
outcome is exemplary of the overall objectives.
3. The social approach is team-based learning. The team
learning aspect underpins the learning process as a social
activity where learning takes place through dialogue and
communication
