1. A policy is any professional rule or guideline that defines appropriate behavior or best
practices. Workplace policies usually cover topics such as health and safety, dealing with
colleagues or customers and employment.

2. HR is concerned with the strategic hiring of individuals and sees employees as a


company resource. Personnel management is about the employee relations perspective
(what someone can do for the organization) and sees employees as the main tools of the
company's profits.

3. Strategic partnerships are sometimes called co-branding. It allows companies to share


information, services and other resources that they would not otherwise have access to.

4. Having technology on HR such as software and other tech tools, many tasks and
responsibilities previously handled by HR professionals can now be automated. This
includes tasks like managing payroll and benefits, evaluating performance, and even hiring
and recruiting.

5.This gives the company an opportunity to understand its environment and create a
strategic plan accordingly. Strategic analysis is of utmost importance in any organization
because it provides the context and backbone on which the company's strategy and overall
position is formed.
