Topic: THE HOLY SPIRIT AND LOVE (12mins)
WORD CHARGE: Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt
love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and
with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And
the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Love is the most powerful force on the earth. And, the Holy Spirit is the source
of love. Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love
of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given
unto us, 1 Cor. 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these
three; but the greatest of these is charity. Every lover of God is a show
piece on the earth. God’s love is different from human love. 1 Corinthians.
13:5 [AMP]. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking; it is not provoked
[nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into
account a wrong endured.
What qualifiers you to enjoy the power of the Holy Spirit is love. You already
have love in you but you must be willingly to give it expression.
Anybody that cannot love is working in the flesh; such a person is carnal.
REASON WHY YOU MUST WALK IN LOVE
It is our major access to our inheritance in Christ. The more your love for God
the more you enjoy God’s blessings. Solomon loved God and God blessed him
with riches and honor. Those who walk in love enjoy all the redemptive rights.
Revelation 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that
was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength,
and honour, and glory, and blessing.
PROOFS OF LOVE
1.You will serve Him. Daniel 6:16,20 Then the king commanded, and
they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king
spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually,
he will deliver thee. 20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a
lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel,
O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest
continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? If you are not serving
God, you don’t love God. Job 36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall
spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
2. You will love His Word. Psalm 119:97 O how love I thy law! it is my
meditation all the day. If you find it difficult to study God’s Word you don’t
love God. Psalm 119:162 I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great
spoil.
3. You will obey Him. 1 John 5 For this is the love of God, that we keep
his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. whom
you love you will obey.

4. You will love His House. Psalm 122:1 I was glad when they said
unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord. Psalm 84:1-7 How
amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts! 2 My soul longeth, yea,
even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth
out for the living God.3Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the
swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine
altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.4Blessed are they that
dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.5 Blessed is
the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of

(Church).
5. You will love God’s people. 1 John 4:20-21If a man say, I love God,
and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother
whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God

love his brother also. If you cannot love people around you, your love is fake.
Any love you can’t demonstrate with people around you is fake love. [ALTAR
CALL]
Prayer of Salvation: Lord Jesus, Come into my life. I declare you my
personal Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that you died and rose from
the death to save me. Now with my mouth I confess you. Thank you, Jesus, for
making me yours. Amen

COMMUNION SESSION: (4mins) John 6:56 He that eateth my

flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As I
partake of the Flesh and Blood of Jesus Christ, I partake of His
eternal life and everything that comes with salvation. I am immune
to sickness, disease, plague, and death. I receive divine health,
supernatural strength, long-useful life etc, in the name of Jesus
Christ! [Stretch forth your hands towards the communion and begin to
declare your expectations in Jesus name].
