Signalling:
That’s all for the Introduction,
Now let’s move to the first part of my talk, which is about the definition of start up dan
conventional businesses.

Startup business and conventional business are two different types of business. A startup is a
startup business that is just operating and is still in the development phase to find a market
and develop a product. Conventional businesses usually stand up to immediately maybe focus
on being able to get profit.
 Now, let’s move to the second part of my talk which is about the differences between
start up and conventional businesses.

1. Funding: Start-ups usually require more funds to develop their business, while
conventional companies usually already have greater capital.

2. Organizational structure: Start-ups have a more flexible organizational structure

and are less bound by strict rules, whereas conventional companies have a more
organized and well-structured organizational structure.

3. Business scale: Start-ups usually still operate on a small scale

4. Purpose: The goal of a start-up is usually to grow its business as quickly as

possible, while the goal of a conventional company is to obtain long-term profits

That completes for the second part of my talk, so now we come to the last part which is about
example business sart up and conventional business.

Examples of startup businesses that have achieved great success in Indonesia: Tokopedia is a
startup business platform that allows users to shop for various needs online.
Meanwhile, an example of a conventional business is PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk A company
that is a state-owned company engaged in the telecommunication and network services sector
in Indonesia.
Conclusion: Startups generally focus on developing innovative new products and
conventional businesses are businesses that are already established and operating for a long
period of time.
Recommendation: Starting a startup business is much easier than starting a conventional
business. This is thanks to technological advances
