1. INTRODUCTION

Bio Genetics Sdn Bhd facilities needed a control environment of below 30 degree
Celsius. Hence, using Air Conditioner are required to facilitate.

2. SCOPE

This procedure covers basic and routine operations that can be undertaken by the in-
house operators.

4. RESPONSIBILITIES

All BioGen staff responsible in proper use and maintain Air Conditioner.

5. SAFETY

The Air Conditioner use thermal fuse that will cut off supply if any sudden rush of
load toward the equipment.

6. PROCEDURE

6.1 Switching on the Air Conditioner

6.1.1 Turn ON the wall plug located near the wall.

6.1.2 Use the remote and press ON button.

6.1.3 Select your desire temperature and fan setting.

6.1.4 Set the timer if needed.

6.2 Switching Off the Air Conditioner

6.1.1 Use the remote and press OFF button.

6.1.2 Wait for 10 second before switching OFF the wall plug

6.1.3 Make sure all the switches already switch OFF before leaving

7. MAINTENANCE

Monthly check the evaporator filter and clean with water. Check the blower fan as
well for dust, clean with brush and vacuum cleaner.

Yearly maintenance works for Air conditioner is performed by external contractor.

The maintenance scope includes outdoor unit and indoor unit.
