1. INTRODUCTION

Thermohygrometer is an essential equipment in monitoring temperature and

relative humidity in controlled area of production, quality control and storage
area.

3. SCOPE

The purpose of procedure for monitoring temperature and relative humidity in

controlled area. This SOP is applicable for monitoring and recording the
temperature (degree C), relative humidity (%) using thermohygrometer.

4. RESPONSIBILITIES

4.1. All BioGen staf from production and QC department are responsible and
verification for temperature and relative humidity as per within specifications.

4.2. Head of Manufacturing & QA will ensure that all BioGen personnel adhere to
this procedure.

5. EQUIPMENT

5.1. Thermohygrometer is an equipment measures both humidity of the air and

temperature of the air. The thermohygrometer measures different ranges of
humidity and temperature depending on the model and specifications.

5.2. Thermohygrometer need to be calibrate once a year at a third-party service

provider.

6. PROCEDURE

6.1 Procedure for monitoring of Temperature and Relative Humidity by

Thermohygrometer.

i. Check the calibration status of the instrument.

ii. Check the temperature and relative humidity displayed in the

thermohygrometer monitor.

iii. Record the temperature and relative humidity on the interval determine
for the location.

iv. Record the previous day minimum and maximum temperature and
relative humidity in the format. Record the minimum and maximum at
the time observing and recording daily initial reading. Record of
minimum and maximum reading.

v. Record the min and max temperature and RH from thermohygrometer

display menu by pressing “MODE” key.

vi. Delete the minimum and maximum reading from the memory of
hygrometer that is required to leave memory space to record the next
day min and max reading.

vii. For resetting the minimum value, press “MODE” key 3 secinds and the
press “SET” key. It will reset the min value.

viii. For restting the maximum value, press “MODE” key for 4 seconds and
then press “SET” key, it will reset the max value.
