● What is the topic of your article?

The topic of my article is The Influence of Technology Integration on Teaching Practices

in K-12 Education. Teaching and learning in K-12 education has received a facelift in the recent
past due to advancements in technology.

● Where do you plan to submit (consider 2-3 options)

I plan on submitting my article to the following and their guidelines

1. The Educators Room: it has a wide-reaching influence among educators and is an ideal way
to amplify your voice and establish your brand.

Guidelines:
● We prefer full drafts on the first pitch to get an idea of your writing style and ability to
build a readable narrative. Please read about our editorial guidelines before you write
the draft.
● The ideal length for editorial pitches is 800-1,500 words, and for personal essays, it is
between 1,500 and 2,000 words.
● We require writers to submit their first pieces on a trial basis. We would love to see how
well their writing resonates with our audience before we hire them as regular
contributors.
● Send your submissions to editor@theeducatorsroom.com or
info@theeducatorsroom.com.
● Put your proposed title in the subject line – keep it snappy and eye-catching. Please look
at our website, www.theeducatorsroom.com, to see our writing style. If applicable,
please include writing samples!

2. Teach Magazine:

Guidelines:
● Writers need to have good knowledge of our publication’s editorial style before making a
pitch.
● We do not consider simultaneous pitches.
● We do not accept unsolicited full drafts either digitally or by mail.
● We thank you in advance but due to the large number of pitches we receive, we are
unable to consider all of them.
● We respond to all pitches by email. Please do not follow up by phone.
● Our average response time is 8 weeks. If you do not hear from us by then, feel free to
submit your pitch elsewhere.
● What is the connection to your initiative? How can this information help others?

My initiative is for the students to be able to use technology in their daily routine during
instruction. This will keep students engaged and motivated to learn. As a science teacher to
younger children, it is very crucial to keep them engaged, as they grasp that knowledge better
when they are actively involved in the learning process. Therefore, I decided to incorporate at
least one technology tool into every lesson. This will ultimately lead to improved academic
performance and a more successful learning experience. My goal for this course is to learn about
different ways to include technology in the lesson. Also, different tech tools and how they can be
used to enhance student learning and engagement in the classroom.

● What digital resources will be included in your article? Briefly describe.

The digital resources I plan on including in my article are:

● Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform that brings engagement. Students really enjoy
this in a classroom. It is a great way to check student understanding at the end of the
lesson in a very interactive way.
● Quizizz: a learning platform that offers multiple tools to make a classroom fun, engaging,
and interactive! As a teacher, you can create gamified Quizzes and Lessons, conduct
formative assessments, host live activities or assign them as homework, tap into detailed
performance reports, and so much more!
● IXL: an online program where students can gain fluency and confidence with essential
math and language arts skills through fun and interactive questions and built-in support.

● Think of your audience, digital presence, and the message you hope to communicate

This article will be a great resource for all educators. Especially those educators who plan on
incorporating technology into their curriculum The information provided will help educators
understand the benefits and challenges of integrating technology in the classroom. It offers
practical tips and strategies for successful implementation. Through this article, I wish for all
educators to at least implement one resource in their classroom that will enhance their teaching
methods and engage students in a more interactive learning experience. By embracing
technology, educators can better prepare students for the digital world and strengthen their
essential basic technology skills , which are crucial for success in the 21st century workforce.
