Accomplishment Report on Home Visitation

I. Introduction

Covid-19 Pandemic changes everything, especially in the Philippines educational

system. This is from face-to-face to Distance Learning Programs to lessen the direct
contact between the teachers and the learners. As part of Learning continuity program
of the Department of Education, the school may adopt the following Learning
Delivery Modalities like Blended Learning, Home Schooling, Distance Learning. But
among the learning modalities, Distance Learning is said to be the safest modality
during the pandemic. The distance learning has three types, Online Learning,
TV/Radio-based Learning and the Modular Learning.

Gaycon Elementary School used the Modular Learning. Weekly is the releasing of
modules, unfortunately, after First Quarter, teachers have found out that several of the
students have not been able to answer the modules on time and some were not able to
get the modules. This shows some indicators of at-risk of dropping out. With this, the
school resorted to the last option which is the Home Visitation. Teachers home visit
programs are utilized by many school systems as a way to create bonds with parents
to increase in-school parent participation and most likely increase pupils’
achievement. The biggest benefit of home visit was a better understanding of the
