There will be many people who propose to ban the use of ChatGPT.

Just
like before, people want to ban the use of the internet for any learning
activities. Their reason is that students refuse to think, refuse to
remember, refuse to listen... It seems like that, very reasonable, if
students only learn to answer "must remember" questions.
But over the past 20 years, we all know that even if we ban it, it won't
work. The Internet is present in the lives of more than half of the
population, and young people aged 15-20 years old will probably not
have any children who are not exposed to the internet. In urban areas,
we can easily see the phenomenon of teenagers often "plugging into
their phones", at least 2 hours/day. Students regularly ask each other
questions, interact, and even participate in automated or instructor-led
online courses. Besides, Vietnam is one of the early countries to
recognize online learning and encourage blended learning. Thus, legally,
technology tools such as ChatGPT are allowed to be used in teaching
and learning within the prescribed framework to ensure the
functionality and quality of education. Most importantly, users of
technology tools including students, teachers, and educational
administrators must achieve certain digital competencies to ensure
safe, effective, and creative implementation.
