2 SHC&MED vide notification No. SODEV-I)25-69/2020(P-I) dated 28-08-2023

constituted a committee to exanmine the matter of alleged usage of low-quality lenses in
Cataract procedures performed under the Sehat Sahulat Program in private sector empaneled
hospitals.
3. Accordingly, the competent authority has directed to suspend the services of Cataract
procedures in all private sector empaneled hospitals with immediate effect till the
recommendations of the aforesaid committee.

5. The matter may be treated as MOST URGENT and IMPORTANT.
