According to EcoVadis, a sustainability
monitoring company in partnership with more than 300 leading multinationals
organisations, there are four CSR themes to monitor risks such as financial losses,
ineffective supply chain management (Ecovadis, 2017). These themes are
reflected in the Table 1 above, following the Coca-Cola’s Sustainability Report
2018.
Through the assessment, it is clear
that the Coca-Cola company is following the Stakeholder Theory, which balances the
interests of mostly all affected parties. In terms of Social & Labour (1),
they take care of their labour force by regular Human Rights audits: more than
25,000 since 2003. Not only that, but also with Supply Chain (2), Coca-Cola is ethically sourcing their
ingredients from more than 44% certified agricultural partners. However, Coca-Cola
is facing some CSR issues such as Ethics (4): Customer health effects and Environment
