In many countries, sports and exercise classes are replaced with the

academic subjects.
In this day and age, there are many nations consider academic success than
non-academic ones. Therefore, physics classes are diminished to pave way
for compulsory subjects. I totally disagree with this change due to these
following reasons.
First, it is undeniable that the less frequency of physics lessons would do
harm to students’ physical health. In this modern life, because most
students have to stay under enormous pressure to be academically
sucessful, they have to stay on tight schedule. As a result, they meet great
challenges taking care of their physical fitness. This means sports and
exercise classes are the only time that they can do physical activities to
enhance their health. The less usually students do exercises, the less
chances for them to boost their healthiness. In other words, replacing
physics classes by academic lessons is same as leopardizing chances of
improving their physical health.
Second, it is also true that non-academic lessons decline and academic
lessons increase are also having detrimental effect to students’ mental
health. As affore-mentioned, students now conform to so hectic schedules
that they even can not have enough time for themselves. Hence, physics
lessons are when they can seize the chance of getting out of books, which
means abating sports and exercise hours is unsuitable. In the long run,
without physics hours, students would run high risk of being extremely
stressed. This leads to several stressed-related diseases, such as depression
or heart diseases. Generally, this shift in studying timetable would have
adverse consequences on students’ emotional health.
In conclusion, it is my reaffirmation that I completely disagree with the
reduction in physics learning hours and the intensity of academic lessons
owing to listed reasons.
