Traders of Wazirpur appeal for a large margin victory for Praveen Khandelwal, a fellow trader and

BJP’s candidate from the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency.

The Delhi Udyog Vyapaar Sangathan organised a vishal vyapari baithak in the Wazirpur industrial
area in support of Khandelwal, setting up a target of 80% voter turnout.

Ashok Goyal, a Chartered Accountant and a senior Delhi BJP leader recited a couplet of Dushyant
Kumar who is often quoted in the leftist circles, he said, “Kon kehta hai aasmaan mein suraakh ho
nahi sakta, ek patthar toh tabiyat se uchalo yaaron (Who says you can’t make a hole in the sky, my
dear friend at least throw a stone properly)”.

Khandelwal started his speech with thanking Piyush Goyal, he said, “my campaign was started by
Piyush Goyal when I filed my nomination papers here in Chandni Chowk and today, on the last day of
my campaign he is standing here, right beside me.”

“Piyush ji and I have known each other for 30 years and we have worked together since Arun Jitley ji
had nominated me to the GST panel in 2017”, Khandelwal said.

Addressing the traders, Khandelwal said, “Through me, Modi ji has given representation to our
community of traders in the parliament and no matter what I become, I will never let the trader
inside me die”.

Sonali Goyal who comes from a trader’s family said, "Khandelwal ji bohot saalo se vyapaariyon ke liye
kaam kar rahe hai aur ab vo humari baat ko sansad mein rakkhenge (Khandelwal has been working
for the traders since years, now he will put up their issues in the parliament)”.
