Commerce & Cultural Association to be organized from 15th May 2024 at Trisha Vidya College, Katapady.

Specific Guidelines for the events:

Bhajan Competition
 10 students from each class with 5 boys and 5 girls
 All participants must involve in Bhajan Competition
 Time duration : Maximum 10 minutes
 Discipline to be maintained

Mehendi Competition
Design: Indian Style
 Participants should find their own Volunteers on whom mehendi will be applied.
 Mehendi is to be applied on One hand only.
 Participants should get their own materials.
 Usage of stencils, stickers and readymade items are not allowed.
 Time allotted: 60 minutes.

Cooking without fire


 3 make a team from each class
 Maximum 2 team from each class
 Cook without fire
 Materials to be brought to College and prepared on spot
 If Food stuffs prepared already at home and are used then the team will be disqualified
 Use of electronic devices like Mixer etc are not allowed

Brand logo Rangoli


 From each class maximum of 2 teams and maximum of 4 members in a team.
 Rangoli must be done with only Chalk and Color powders.
 Participants should bring the required materials.
 Logo of the Chosen Company must be clear.

Face Painting
 2 make a Team
 Theme: Save Environment
 Painting should be completed on time
 Time duration : 1 hour
 Participants with sensitive skin should avoid being the model
 Use only professional paints
 Harmful Colors should not be used, if any problem occurs then College will not be held
responsible
Commerce Quiz
 2 make a team from each class
 Faculty incharge will update regarding rounds and rules.

Mad-ad
 Minimum 3 And Maximum 5 students per team from each class
 Only One team from a class can participate
 Note : Disrespectful or offensive portrayal of Caste, Religion and showcasing negative
role on any political party is not allowed.

Commerce Model Competition (either static / working)


 2 make a team from each class
 Maximum 2 team from a class
 Time : For each team 1 hour
 Marks will be based on Product prepared & its Presentation
 Power connection based product will not be allowed
 All necessary components and accessories to be brought by participants
 The model should be unique & Creative and must be relating to Commerce only
 Theme/Focus area: Any Commerce models

Kite making Competition


 2 make a team from each class
 Kite to be made in the College during the specified time slot
 Points :
Kite Outlook, Design and Uniqueness – Out of 05 Points
High Flying Kite – Out of 10 Points

Product Launch
 3-5 make a team from each class
 No negative/banned products
 Theme will be updated in the group 1 day prior to the event
 Further updates will be intimated by Fcaulty incharge

Coconut Peeling Competition


 10 members from a class
 Maximum 1 team
 5 Boys & 5 Girls
 10 Coconuts to be peeled by each class
 Machine and Coconuts will be arranged by Faculty incharge
Treasure hunt
 2 make a team from each class
 Maximum 05 team from a class
 Taking help from person other than specified participants will be disqualified
 Faculty incharge will update regarding rounds and rules.

Reels making Competition


 Individual event
 Maximum of two participants from each class
 Reels must Cover the entire Siddhatva event
 Max duration: 90 Sec
 Last date to submit : 01/06/24

Short Film
 From each class One team can participate (Upto 10 members)
 Short movie on social cause and visuals can be taken outside the campus and not inside
the premises
 Max duration: 10 minutes
 Last date to submit : 29/05/24
 Note : Disrespectful or offensive portrayal of Caste, Religion and showcasing negative role
on any political party is not allowed.
 Late submission will not be entertained

Photo story
 Individual event
 Minimum 5 and maximum 10 photos
 All the included series of photos must depict a story
 Last date to submit : 28/05/24
 Late submission will not be entertained

Logo making Competition


 Individual/ 2 make a team
 1 team from each class only
 Logo design:
 Siddhatva (Perfection)
 Last date to submit on 13th May 2024 by Afternoon 1.00 p.m.
 Late submission will not be entertained
General Guidelines:
1. There must be atleast 1 participation from each class for all the events (This restriction applies only
for Day College)
2. Evening batch students can participate after seeking permission from their respective class teachers
3. Exact Timing of the event will be updated 1 day prior to the event day
4. Participants are supposed to bring all necessary materials for the events that they are participating
5. Maintaining discipline is must and strict action will be taken if found guilty of the same
6. Decision of the judges will be final
7. Participants can give their names to class representatives and he/she is considered as the captain of
the team
8. Class Representatives should give their respective class participants name for each event to Student
volunteers who then submits it to Faculty incharge
9. Overall Championship will be given for the Class which has got highest point: Points are as follows –
 Individual winner : 1st -7 Point ; 2nd – 5 Point
 Group winners : 1st - 10 Point ; 2nd – 7 Point
 Individual Participants – 1 Point
 Group Participants – 2 Point
10. One participant can participate in maximum 3 events.
